In a season full of sensational goals, thrilling action and brilliant saves it saw us finish 9th in the Barclays Premier League, our highest position since the competition began and the best in England's elite league for more than 50 years. With Harry's new look side, Pompey got off to a soaring start, topping the Barclays Premier League table in mid September and without a goal being conceded. A great Christmas campaign and a strong April saw the team challenging for a top six finish and a place in Europe.
